Author: Therese HamiltonAn old time astrologer, Therese has been studying and practicing India’s astrology since the 1970s, twenty years before the inauguration of the ACVA in California. After ten years as a tropical astrologer, Therese learned India’s astrology (then called ‘Hindu’) from Indian teachers, B.V. Raman’s books and India’s classic astrological texts. Many of Therese’s articles were published in journals in the 1970s through the 1990s in America, England and India In the 1990s Therese shifted her focus and became interested in Project Hindsight and translations of ancient western astrological texts (still happening today). She immediately noted their link to India’s astrology. This connection forms the basis of much of her work today. As a background, Therese earned a teaching degree before transferring to psychology following her interest in astrology. She received a B.A. degree in psychology from the University of California at Berkeley, and an M.A. degree in counseling psychology from San Francisco State University.
